My Special Car Fiat Punto ♥

Hi girls!

This is going to be just a quick blog post, not really beauty related...or it can still be considered as such? ;)

...about my new/old car, Fiat Punto!

I just love my car!
It was gifted to me back in 2001. by my dear granny.
Years have passed and I realized that I never want to replace it with another car!

Luckily, my hubby is a car tuner and the owner of
car tuning workshop, and without further talking about it, I'll let the following pics tell the whole story... ;)

A few weeks ago, he started working on my car to "upgrade" it and I consider this such a wonderful gift! :)
He is truly so talented!

My car before...

My car now!

My car is a real model, lol!

One of my very fave pics!!!

We still need to work on some changes, such as replacing the tires with the wider ones, and getting a different alloy wheels, but the big part of the job is pretty much done!

I know, my blog is usually all about make up, fashion & beauty...but I'm so excited, I couldn't not share this news with you...besides, I AM talking about the beauty here hihi :)

We had this project in mind for years now, ever since I realized I don't want to buy a new car, but just always work on improving the one that I have!
That's why, now that the work is finally done, I just can't stop smiling when looking at my car :)
I'm really passionate about the world of tuning now, thanx to my hubby, who introduced me to it!

Oh, another thing, I wanted to ask you how do you feel about this new colour?
Do you like it?

This is actually an original Fiat colour, of a new Fiat 500!
I picked it out because it's quite unusual, and depending on how the light hits it, it can be grey, muddy brown, even green and purple!
It kind of reminded me on a Chanel 505 Particuliere nail polish, that was a big must-have a few seasons ago, but I still love it!
lol

Anyway, that was it, enough "bragging" with my car, lol ;)

If you're interested to see more of my hubby's work, go to this official WEBSITE, or subscribe to his YOUTUBE channel.

Have a passionate evening ;)
xoxo Sonja

  2. I think it's great to be dedicated on one car. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", right? As long as there's a means to keep the car in good condition, then stick with what you have. Anyway, the change on your Fiat is looking pretty sweet! Once it's done, have fun with it.

  3. The new color on your car looks pretty fab. The muddy brown color also works for me. :) Anyway, glad to hear that you are enjoying this process of upgrading your car. You must be very proud to have such a talented husband.

  5. Your grandma sure knows your taste, Sonja. Did you know that Fiat Punto was nominated European Car of the Year in 1995? It even competed with the prices of cars like Opel Corsa and Volkswagen Polo; this helped Fiat Punto become an instant success in the European market.

    1. Correct, Delsie. Actually, the Fiat Punto is also a replacement for the aging Fiat Uno. Have you seen the Punto Evo (also known as GrandePunto)? Personally, it looks classier than the Fiat Punto. By the way, I like the new color of your car.

  6. I think this post can be beauty related, as your husband had done a great job with the paint job. Your new Fiat looks great! I hope I can see the outcome after the customization. I like the idea about the alloy wheel because it can add beauty to the car if you pick a color that can complement and/or let the base color of the car standout.

  7. Wow! Your husband did make your car look hotter! The paint job also made the curves look blunted, and the Mag wheels look great as well. If there is one word that I can use to describe your newly modified car, it would be: “Sexy”!
